The speech of Dr. Haider during the opening ceremony of the exhibition in Vienna
On October 6th, 2004, His Excellency JORG HAIDER, President of the Libyan-Austrian Society and His Excellency SAIF AL ISLAM AL QADHAFI, President of the Gaddafi International Foundation for Charitable Associations, presided over the opening ceremony of “DIE WUSTE SCHLAFT NICHT”– The desert is not silent” at Palais Auersperg. More than 350 invitees attended the opening ceremony, including several Austrian highest personalities from all sectors. Been well known in Vienna, H.E. Saif Al Islam was the main attraction of this exhibition, which attracted more than 41 500 visitors.
